Washed Her Today
The Monty! My dogs are all males.
Seriously, I hate to admit that this is the first time since ordering it and taking delivery 1 1/2 years ago. It was really dirty and full of black streaks. Used simple green and a soft brush to clean it. I was really impressed with the gel coat finish. It cleaned up very easy and looks great. Not so much for the material they use along the bottom. Some type of plastic that really needs to be scrubbed and never did get clean.
Anyone use a stronger cleaner on this with good results? Its the piece that wraps to the underside of the trailer.

Cleaned ours before coming to the Central Plains Rally and then drove thru rain all morning. Now it looks worse than before we washed it.

Awesome from the Dollar Store will clean anything, but you got to be careful, full strength it can take some paint off. But for plastic parts and even if you dilute it some it will clean the metal underwrap. Just test it on a piece first. It will remove the wax.....

I try to follow good examples observed here on the MOC, Richfaa once stated he only washes and never waxes, so now that's my plan. After picking up the new Monty in January from Lazydays in Florida I did wash the rig in April, got it washed free by Lazyday RV of Tucson in May, and recently washed it after returning from CA and going through dust storms in NM. Don't plan to wash it till maybe December. My Mama once said "people wear their clothes out in the washing machine", I don't plan to wear the Monty out washing it, and plan never to wax.

I'm inclined to agree with the no wax philosophy, especially on the gel coat surfaces where the graphics reside. I'm thinking this could be some of the peeling graphics problem. But I will try the above suggestions to clean that pesky plastic lower skirting.
Thanks for the help.
