Rand McNally RV 7710 Inop AGAIN
Bought on 29 June, back to RM on 10 July, received back on 31 July and road tested couple days later. Hooked up to RM Dock today and cannot connect. Error code 43, USB driver on RM side inop. Tried to connect on three different computers with three different USB cables and no go, same error code. Think I have a lemon here and definitely a "Catch 22" as CW says no returns of electronics after 30 days. Will get a prepaid, this time, RMA from RM on Monday and back it goes. Regardless, this will be replaced with the rumored to be released sometime Garmin RV GPS.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Hope they get you a new one that works. So far ours is still hanging in there.

Hate to hear you are having problems but glad I did my research and found you having this problem. CW has these on sale now (Internet price only) and was about to buy..............NOT NOW!!!!! Have two Garmin units now and they have been great. Was looking for something suited for pulling the Montana. Like you, will wait for Garmin to release one.
Good luck in getting an operable unit.

RM replaced the unit and the new unit is working great.

Glad you got it taken care of. Ours locked up and had a message about low memory. we pushed the reset button everything is fine now.

Maybe I will put them back on my short list to keep researching. Can you build a route on your computer by choosing roads you want to travel and then download that route to the GPS or do you just enter the destination and the GPS develops the route based on your travel preferences?
