Help-DSI 10 Gallon Hot water Tank

Freshly filled propane. Worked 2 days while out, and just stopped working. When i turn it on, i do here the clicks and can see the sparks being created. So i know it is firing, but appears not to be getting gas for some reason...

Any guidance would be GREAT,.,

Thanks,

Roy

First thing I would do is check the stove and refrigerator. Are they working with propane. If yes, switch bottle and try. If no check the burner at the heater, to see if plugged. Next would be the board.

Agree...We have had similar experiences with the refrig. There is a spark at the unit, but no ignition. This occured when the gas had been turned off for a couple of days, or longer. After turning the gas back on, I "fiddle" with one of the stove top burners until it lights. Once this has been accomplished, I turn the refrig back on and the unit ignited. Hope the solution to your issue is as simple.

did the tanks switch over before it stopped? maybe the second tank safety is activated and has slowed the flow.

when it first tries to ignite you should also hear a "clunk" sound which is the gas valve opening to allow the gas to flow then you will hear the clicking of the igniter.

I had to relace the gas valve on mine last year when it went bad and lost it's "clunk".

Yes i heard the clunk.

My solution: take gas line off below regulator, shot wd-40 followed by canned air through. Cleared whatever was there... Fired right up.

Thanks for all the ideas and help.

You've probably already done this but have you turned the switch on off several times for the water heater. Just let it on for a few minutes and then shut it off and turn it back on. On my old trailer if it ran out of gas I had to do this several times. But on it the light would come on to let me know it didn't light. Oooops sorry just seen it was working before it quit.
