Blind String

The string broke on our big rear window blind. I know it can be restrung but wonder what is being used for string.
Happy trails..................

Sue..Go here Irvine shade& Door, Inc, Elkhart ,In..Google it ..they do have a web site.. This is the vendor for the D/N shades. You need to be careful when you order a restring kit, Some of the shades are 1 string shades and some are 2 string string shades.. also the string is differert in size and you need the string that fits the Irvine shade. Call them and they will walk you through it.... You will have to measure the shade to get the right string kit... They also send a good set of instructions with the restring kit.. Helen said is was easy to do..I never tried.

Hmm, all I can find on Google are references with address and phone numbers - no website.
If someone has the actual website address (if it exists), please post

Maybe I lied about the web site.I seem to spend a lot of time looking for vendors on the stuff in these campers as I figure they should know about their product than anyone else. There were a couple of other vendors and I may have got them mixed up....Note Irvine is the ONLY vendor for Montana..at this time..The number is 574-522-1446...they are very helpful.

That is the Dirty blind man and his repair kits are excellent. Not only do you get new string, you also get the plastic grommets the string goes through, you get an instructional cd
