Re my post of December 1st...opened the entrance door today and heard the sound of things hitting the ground. The locking latches fell off the door. Minor problem, Minimal issue. Point is the door fell apart.

The problem with the entry door latch was the dead bolt portion fell out. Things were broken inside . New door latch assembly from the Manufacturer under 20.00 on order. Add that to our Minimal problem list.

Another Minimal problem. No hot water on electric, gas side OK. Looking for problem.

If a dealer worked on your unit since the last time you used the electric hot water heater they probably shut the outside switch off to prevent it from coming on inadvertently.
