Paint for rubber roof?
I was curious if there was a paint durable and flexible enough to paint the visible part of the rubber roof to match the body colors of our 5th wheels to give it a more finished look? Maybe just the first 6 inches of the roof that is visible to people on the ground? Just curious if anyone has done this?

I don't think they make anything that would flex enough ans stick to ether rubber or tpo roofing. Just don't look up!

We used to use rhino lining at the nuclear plant for a coating that was flexible and could be decontaminated if necessary..

I like the Rhino lining idea, since I would want a black color. I will ask around about that?

I sold my 2017 3820FK Montana a few weeks ago, and have ordered an SOB 5th wheel, and it comes with a Fiberglas roof when ordering the Elite Suites, or you can save $5,000 and go with the rubber roof, which has an 11 year warranty, and the Fiberglas only has a one year warranty. It is painted to match the rest of the 5th wheel, which gives it a very completed look. The rubber roof also saves you an extra 500 pounds. So the only thing I will be missing out on by going with the rubber roof, is the completed look of the painted fiberglas roof.

Enjoy your new sob and maybe they have a forum that can answer your question about going with and painting the fiberglass roof or not.

Putting anything on your rubber roof could void any warranty.and we all know how good warranty are, when our roof peeled up from the front of our 2014 3582, keystonl doesn't know you after their one year runs out failure was ruled as structural failure, long story short opted not to repeat this again we went with Flex Armor that has a lifetime warranty and is transferable, been on since June no problems, hope this helps anybody with a EPDM ROOF

also think about selling/trade in in the years to come. will it reduce the price or make it harder to sell?
