strange leak under kitchen island

We have a 2020 3121rl. We just noticed a strange leak under our kitchen island - it is not water. Could it be hydraulic fluid? My husband is taking apart the island now to try to find the source. Has anyone else had this problem?

Here is a vent under your sink for the gray water tank, if you valve is closed water can back up if the tank is full.. I know this as it has happened to us once.

You may have an air admittance valve leaking in the waste water line under the sink. You would be looking for something like this. https://www.trekwood.com/products/13...-1-2-w-Adapter
It’s also possible that you just have a leak in the waste fittings. We had to replace the cheap drain/strainer fittings in both sinks because they cracked and were leaking. Replaced the plastic fittings with stainless steel fittings.

But the problem is it’s not water. It’s coming out on the front side of the island - right where the wood meets the vinyl floor. It doesn’t absorb into a paper towel. It’s very perplexing!

Sounds like someone spilled liquid soap under the sink maybe?

Kitchen/Dining room slides are likely hydraulic but I don't see how any could get under your kitchen island sink.

Could it be excess glue from the vinyl flooring? Does it wipe up at all?

Do you use sink covers? Is the bottom of your sink wet?
