Beware...Washing Rig can be dangerous
Well...last Monday we were ashing the rig,you know us proud Montana owners need a clean rig and boom. David fell off the ladder washing the nose and factured his wrist. So anybody in the area of the Salton Sea, come by and visit, because he can not do much else.
Would lve to visit with any and all MOC'ers. We are at Fountain of Youth on the Salton Sea space 81.

Sorry to hear of the accident. We have been in a drought here in North Georgia for over a year with outdoor water restrictions for the last nine months. Thus my Montana is in need of a bath. I hope we have enough rain so they will lift restrictions soon. My house needs a good pressure wash too! Anyway, be careful washing these things. I try to use a long handled brush as much as possible and hopefully avoid falling from a ladder. I can fall good enough just walking around on level ground. LOL

So sorry to hear about the fall, but glad to hear it is only his wrist. I am banned from the roof as hubby is sure I will pitch myself off of the rig.
Here is hoping he has a speedy recovery with out any problems. Keep him on the internet exploring for the new places and things you will be seeing when he gets well.

Dave, Did the exact same thing two years ago in June, one week before going to Myrtle. Had to stay on the beach instead of in the water. Still could handle a margarita, made everything better. Kerry

Sorry to hear about your "fall from grace". One way I avoid that is to either wash thr front before I disconect or back the truck up to the 5er and use a 2 x 12 across the bed of the truck.

I am so sorry to read about your fall. I am so fearful of that same fate.
Each day I wake up I am a day older than my retirement age and fearful that the body will not work the way it did when I was younger.
Now, when Hanna is in the drive way, I back the TV in at a 90 degree angle so I won't block the street. I use a extended window squegee with good ole BOUNCE on the soft side. It keeps me from getting on ladders. For me to be on a ladder is an accident waiting to happen.
Get well soon! Don't forget to "play it to the hilt," and get waited on hand and foot by the DW. (Don't tell her I said that!)

David, Sorry to hear about your wrist and hope you heal quickly.
I have been banned from ladders. Fell off one from roof top level May 25th of last year and dislocated my left shoulder and sprained my right ankle. The two things that raced thru my mind when I started to fall were 1) This is going to hurt and 2) Doris is going to be really pissed. I was right on both.
Cheers!

This is for Dave hoping his sense of humor was not injured. Get Well!
"This little lad went dashing into the house and said, 'Mum, I've knocked the ladder down outside.'
His mother said, 'Well, don't bother me, go and tell your dad.'
The lad said, 'He already knows – he's hanging off the roof."

Dave sorry about your wrist. Nothing hurts more than a broken bone. Last year someone fell off their roof while washing and broke a shoulder. Who was it?
