Refrigerator in basement of 2010 3000RK?

Hi everyone! Has anyone been able to fit a supplemental fridge in the basement of your unit in this model?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Narnia,
We run an old Engel unit that uses either 12 VDC or 110 AC. It fits into the curb side of the cargo hold. It can run as a full freezer or a split fridge-freezer, so it is a nice addition to the moderate refrigerator in the 2011 3150 RL. You have to watch the power consumption of any fridge, especially if they are a compressor type.

Good luck on your research.

Wow! Thank you! That sounds great, that it's convertible! What is the model number and capacity?

Is your RV fridge 8 cu ft?

Nania,
The link to Engel is https://www.engelcoolers.com/shop/12...-freezers.html

Our model is an older 45 something or other ,now discontinued, but most parts still available.

The fridge in the Montana is probably 8 cubic feet, or at the very most 10 c. ft. We tend to buy a lot of produce and freezer items ahead and take with us on a road trip, so having the extra cool storage and/or freezer space really helps this approach.

By the way, our model is one that has only one moving part, which is pretty amazing, and no doubt a factor in its longevity.
