The forum can be intimidating at first. My advice is NOT to try to read every Thread in every Category. There are many Categories and Threads within them. It takes forever to find what is current. Use the "Recent Posts" in the right pane to see what has changed since the last time you logged on. While "Recent Posts" makes it easy to see what is going on, it sometimes doesn't list all the changes. This is because the display area is limited (something like 16 entries?). If the entire pane is filled with highlighted (i.e. unread) Threads it is likely the limit has been exceeded and there are more unread Threads. To find all of them, click on the "Today's Post" in the brown ribbon near the top.
