Smile Days from Delivery - First RV

we are proud to say that on Tuesday, we are scheduled to take delivery of our first RV and it is a Montana. We settled on the HM340BH for its floor plan and our needs with kiddos. I have read some rough to hear things about many experiences with new RVs, 340BH included, but I would like to believe we are making a good choice with Keystone as the manufacturer. Please feel free to talk me out of it if its a mistake.

As mentioned, It is also our first RV. When I was young, my family had RVs and I went a lot. My mother later became a "Snowbird" in her 5th wheel. So, I am not unfamiliar. I believe this will be a great unit for us for many years.

My tow vehicle is a 2015 2500HD Duramax. In my life I have towed all sorts of trailers for thousands of miles and am confident in this set up. However, I would love to hear your comments.

We take the unit out for a long weekend pretty much as soon as we pick her up next week.

Please offer any advice. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! One thing to remember is that there are thousands of members here, but this is also the place to come with troubles to get help so it seems problems are far more common than they really are. The vast majority of us love our Montana's. May your new rig bring you many years of wonderful memories.

You will hear the good the bad and the ugly along with solutions. The good far outweighs the bad .
