New Couple

We bought our 2002 3295RK last spring and I’ve been lurking this forum ever since. Thought it was time to sign up and step out of the shadow. Looking forward to continuing to learn more about my Montana Big Sky.

Welcome aboard to the Forum! It's a great place to find out and ask questions about your Montana. Another great way to meet fellow Montana owners and find out info is to attend some of the Regional and National Rallies. You can find out info on them by going to the Rally Section and Regional Clubs section of this Forum. Come join us at some or all of the Rallies hosted by MOC members across the nation. Again, welcome aboard and enjoy that Montana!

Does Fireguy imply you’re a member of the fire service? I’m about to retire with 23 yrs of service.

Thanks all for the welcome. I’ve learned a lot reading these forums. Unfortunately I’ve learned a few things the hard way too. Maybe someday I’ll post a pic of my broken rear window in my truck.

Dan-Cindy, If you have a short bed truck you will need a sliding hitch with your older rig. I had to buy a slider also. Luckily I was lurking before I purchased so the fine people of MOC said I needed a slider. The newer trailers are shaped different and don't usually need a sliding hitch.

BUT - I learned you never know when the slider is needed - it happens SO Quick and then … had the slider, didn't use it and then paid $803 for new rear window … when in doubt, SLIDE.

Have fun, let us know your enjoyed camp grounds. We gravitate to COE facilities using the Senior passport. its paid for itself 2Xover.
