3731FL height question

Hey gang. I am in need of some Information from any users that have a 2017-2018 Montana 3731FL.

I just purchased one from a dealer and hope to pick up with in a week or so because we love the floor plan for our family but my issue is with overall height and how much lower the roof line is from the OAH of the ac system. We have a lean to off the side of our garage that we intend to store the Rv in.

I need someone to measure the height from the ground to the top of the roof line on the side to see how much fall off there is from the crown of the roof.

The spec sheet shows 13’-5” and I am assuming that’s to the top of the ac system and I am squeezing every inch to make this happen. The pic with my tractor shows an aluminum bar at 13-5”

Any one that can help much appreciated

Doug

All of the measurements come in around 13' 5" to the top of the AC. Some of the variance is due to how the rig rides on your TV. My garage door is 14' so I'm good. You will be very close. I would proceed with caution.

You could let a little air out of the tires and gain several inches. My RV port is 16 feet at the center and 14 on the sides so I don't have a problem. It's 47' deep and 20' wide.

Our 3730FL just happens to be at the house today, so I went out and measured. Ground to where top edge corner has curled over to flat roof is 12' 2". Air antenna is there, at about 6" high and in from the edge less than a foot. So, 12' 8" is a reasonable estimate.

If you have a front air conditioner add 12 inches to that 12'2

Height of a fifth wheel can change from one TV to another.

The Montana spec sheet says it is 13'5" tall. But as said hooked up may be a bit different.

Well. Finally got the new one home. Fits with room to spare. For all those looking there is quite a drop off from the 13'-5" OAH at the top of the AC unit to the sides.

Got to say I was sweating it, but in the end all good.

Thanks Grzly03....

No, they are 6x6x20' . They are about 4' in the ground. and after concrete was poured it was 13'-1" clear opening on the short side and works its way up to 14'-6" on the building side. I was limited by the height of the roof on the existing building as I did not want to go through the trouble of messing with original building roof line

Looks great! Can you get the door open? Or is it time for a small garage door in the side of the building..

Nice we have the same rig. If you have a chance sometime could you do a measurement to the front AC. You have a nice base line to work with, I swear every time I hook up this thing gets taller!
I've measured between 13'3" / 13'9" guess I never have a true level spot.
Thanks

You have an awesome setup there. Looks really good. I wish I had made ours 5' longer, but I think later in the year I can get it extended. Thanks for sharing the pix.
