If I had a chance to do it over again......
1. I would have made them put a an electric actuator on the second gray tank. instead of having to pull the slide in to pull the valve- did not find second gray dump until after first camping trip and only then did dealer tell me about it
2. I would have verified in advance how many batteries they were going to install and made 2 part of the deal.
3. inspect the roof first at start of PDI- too hot and tired- did it later and now have to get 4 tubes of dicor
4. Ensure the battery disconnect really disconnects the battery.
5. made a real world sized sewer hose storage a part of the deal- They have gone away from bumper storage and what they give you in return is a bad joke
6. given that in the "convenience" Center does not contain all dump valves and battery disconnects- had them rename it "somewhat convenience center"

You can still do some of these things - you would have paid for them up front anyway.

A person can have their "dream" S & B home built and after moving in can still find things that they wish they or the contractor had done differently. I have seen it happen multiple times. Why should an RV be any different?

Yep know what you mean. I have added one additional sewer holder a 7 foot long 6" arround sch 40 pvc pipe and am about to add a second one. Installed just behind the landing gear.
The battery disconnect dose not disconect everything for a reason. Search that on the site and you will know why. Put a disconect at the battery problem fixed. If you need a second battery add it. I for one am on my 3rd Montana and never needed more than one battery. But I never boom dock. And of course this is a personal preference.
A lot of us like to add these little items to personalize our rigs. But others want it to be done when it is sold to them.
I had the dealership add toppers and my sat antenna before we drove it off.

On our last rig I took a sprinkler system shut off rod and bent the ends up and used that on the dump handle under the slide. The new rig has it in the gap between the slides.

If up are handy at all is would be a good idea to purchase some basic tools and add special repair items as your experience grows. We have experienced lack-luster performance from some Dealers and wonder how they are able to stay in business...or why they are still in the Keystone network. Owning a Montana is a good choice and one that we will never regret, it does take a beating hauling it down the road.
It is all part of the RV experience, similar to Boat ownership sitting in Salty Air or coming back in from a long trip on heavy seas.

Well If I would have caught all of these things before buying I would have "held back" some funds to do it. The hardest thing to fix the inconvenient drain valve.
I did have on my list to the salesperson "Must be easy to dump"

Get electric remote dump valves and all is fixed.
That said I have a service man comming tomorrow to fix the black tank dump it wouldn't close completely must be something stuck in it.
