Replacement Breakaway Switch and Cable

I need to replace my Breakaway switch and cable. Wires are corroding and breaking. Any suggestions on what/where to purchase?

I had to replace the cable only on my old unit, put on a coiled one, love it, once we got our new Monty I quickly replace the new one with the spring coil, keeps it from getting stuck and fraying. Got it from local trailer dealer, I have seen systems on etrailer if your going to do it yourself.

Ten to twenty bucks on Amazon. Depends on how fancy you want the cord.

Or you could go to Home Depot and probably for less than $5 you could buy a few feet of plastic coated 1/16 cable and a coupe of 3/32 double barrel ferrules and make your own. Use your old clip or snap if need be and just wack the ferrule with a hammer and you are good to go. Of course you might spend more on fuel getting there then you do on the parts!

Same one we bought as they do not last long before the cable starts to fray, I like the hungry type cord and ours rusted out so I installed a fresh one
