KS bed frame

The bed frame was twisted and apart after the last slide out. We managed to get it square and stable, after 3 Trips to Home Depot, and tested it. We will be on the road with nightly stops for 3 days, hope it stays together til we get to home base. I don’t know what caused it unless there was too much weight under the bed. I always double check for stuff that might be in the way and haven’t seen anything that might have stuck to cause the problem. Anybody else have the same problem? The bed was constructed with staples and the frame is hollow and thin so no screws.

We put a new heavy mattress in the old rig and had the frame pull away from the wall. Had to rebuild it and while I was at it we used real lumber and screws. Never had another problem after that.
