Problem with drain from kitchen sink
Recently, when draining the kitchen sink, we noticed water running from the underbelly onto the ground. I have not removed any screws holding the underbelly on to peaked up there to see what the problem is. I’m suspecting the pipe has come loose from one of the fittings. We have been stationary for a while so movement from traveling could not have caused this. In the meantime, I am curious how the drain is routed above the galley tank. Does anyone have any pictures showing the plumbing above the tanks? We are using a basin in the kitchen sink for now and dumping the water down the toilet into the black tank. We have an appointment to take our Montana into the dealer soon to get that fixed in addition to a few other things.

I'm assuming that the drain opening by the tire is in the open position. If so you may have a crack in the holding tank.

Uhhhhhhhh yep....just went thru this with my galley tank. Most likely you got a split in your tank. All I did with mine was it get totally full, then the water started gushing out from under the underbelly (I use the galley tank to flush the line after dumping the black tank). I had an ext warranty but I saw the bill and it was $1000. The tank is dirt cheap but the labor is a killer. Make sure you ask or if doing it yourself that you want a flexible fitting between the tank and the plumbing. Hope we're wrong and all it is is a fitting though.

Hi,
Sorry for the problems with the tank. I had mine leak also. It is a common problem, the full tank gets heavy, the drain is rigid, so it cracks the tank outlet.
I have a slide-show that shows the problem and fix. Also the location of the tank. Now, my unit is a 3400RL, so keep that in mind.

Great job Ozz! I really appreciate your detailed pictures. Mine leaked also after about 3 days of kitchen use, but I had my extended warranty fix it and had to pay for shipping on the tank only.

Thank you for appreciating the photo's, it is hard enough to do the repairs, but much harder when you take pictures at each step, download them, eat up air time and caption all of them.
I willingly do this to help any of our members that may need the tips in the future.
We are a family.
Glad your warranty took care of your problem, it can get expensive..

Thank you very much Ozz. Your pictures help me understand how the tanks and plumbing are assembled, even if I will not be making the repairs.
We have an extended warranty, so fortunately the largest portion of the costs will be covered.
I will post information after the repairs are complete.

I am glad the war is paying off for you, but sorry you are having this problem.
I will add that it is cheap insurance to install the two flex rubber screw-clamp connectors, so this hopefully won't happen again.

OZZ,
When you installed the flex rubber screw-clamp connectors, did you just cut the pipe and slip the connector on? or did you cut some of the pipe out to give it some more room to flex?
