Bigfoot leveling system

Does anybody have it and do you like it? I 'm not sure the Lippert 6 pt is what I want to trust.

We have the 6 point Level Up and love it. Wouldn't be with out it now that I know what I can do with it:

Auto level
Change tire
Long term level (winter), auto level then raise entire trailer up a other inch or so to take some weight off tires
If in soft ground, such as wet dirt, snow, etc. and not level after a few weeks, manually re-level
Solid support and minimizes trailer movement

We've had BigFoot on our Montana since April 2009 and are very glad we had it put on. We know we'll never realize any monetary profit from the installation but being full time, the use of the system is well worth the money. If you are serious about having it installed, I recommend you make arrangements with the company in White Pigeon, MI. It will be a lot cheaper. We had ours done in California at a cost of $5200 and the company will install it a lot cheaper than that.

We did the Level-Up retrofit on our Montana and loved it, so it was a requirment for our SOB. There are pros and cons to both systems. I'm sure the Big Foot system is an easier addition since it's only 4 jacks and each jack has it's own pump so all that needs to be run in the belly is electric control lines. But I like the Level-Up system with 6 jacks, just seems as it puts less stress on the frame with a set of jack just in front and behind the axles.

We have BigFoot, and we love it. As you know BigFoot has 4 cylinders each with there own pump assembly. The cylinders are made of steel and have a lifetime warranty on them. The front jacks are rated for 17,000 lbs each and the rear are rated for 12,000 lbs each. BigFoot has 7/24 Emergency service (never need it, but it is there).

Both are are fine systems, but BigFoot has be doing automatic leveling systems for a lot longer (20 years vs 3 years for Lippert).

If you place your order threw Plug-it-Right you will save about $800, and the factory still does the installation. The MICHIGAN location is $4,460.70 (including tax and installation) threw Plug-it-Right.

As you can see in the picture below, I can get into spots that I could not get into without BigFoot. The back stabilizers (I never use them) are over 3 feet in the air because of the drop off. You can see the rear pumps (boxes next to jacks) also.

John,
Excuse my ignorance but I'm confused about one of your statements. How do the jacks help you get into spots you couldn't get into without them? Thanks, Dennis.

Dennis,

The back of the site drops off sharply. The stabilizers even with two feet worth of blocks would not touch. Here is another look at the site:

Do these eliminate the landing legs to get the trailer off the truck? How much movement do you feel in the trailer? I don't see chock between the wheels either. Just curious about some of the effects these bring.

Up until yesterday we were going to have the 6pt Level-up system installed at the Lippert facility in Goshen. But since the weather is not going to be very good for the next 2-3 weeks, we decided to put the install off until it gets a bit warmer, then we will reschedule it.

The cost at the factory quoted was $4,812.50 inc tax. Lippert also removes the front landing jacks and when the system is installed the total weight additional to the trailer 100#. Just in-case anyone was wondering.

We are camping at the site just below that. Weather is much colder now

We like our 6 pt level up system it has gave no trouble and works perfect. We had a high end MH before Montana and it was not near as fast or as level.
