Front skirt recommendation?

Anyone have experience with front storage skirts for Montana fivers?

This place was recommended on another site, and seems to offer a quality product. Unfortunately they are not presently able to return calls or emails (tried for weeks).

I bought one from CW and it lasted a few weeks, tore at one of the snaps. I took it back and they replaced it free of charge. I used that one for three years and it was beginning to tear at the bottom grommets where I nailed it in the ground with 13inch steel tent stakes. All in all, it served its purpose well and I would buy another one, just plan on replacing it after three or four years of fulltiming, or much longer if not fulltiming. I had it on a 2006 3400RL.

Just a suggerston, you might talk to a local marine canvas top maker.

That's a good idea. Probably easy to find in Portland, OR.

The first one was installed by CW. You put the snaps on the trailer after you hold the skirt up and align the holes in the skirt. This worked well the first time. When I had to replace the skirting not all the snaps aligned perfectly. I had a little slack near the pin box but it was livable.

Purchased the one from C.W and it worked well for the 5 years we had it.We left it with the 06 when we traded it and we purchased a new one for the 13 from C.W.

Ok I went and figured it out. So if you live in a place like I do where it gets down to the high 50s you most likely don't need them, right? Never saw them on fivers or travel trailers. So guess I answered my own dumb question! Got down to 48 last year burrrr.....

We use it for storage while in Florida long term and to keep things out of sight.Most folks use them for that.

We will be using it for storage and keeping out site looking more clean. I cant' see how a front skirt would help at all with insulation. They do make full skirts.

Looked at the skirts from Camping World. The shortest one (236") is longer than needed (222"). Are these "cut to fit"?

Other recommendations would be appreciated!

I have never had skirting but lots of choices on Amazon…
