Rocking Chair replacement?

We are thinking about replacing the original rocking chairs that came with the 2007 3400RL with something like the Lane Andre. Costco is having a sale: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...ketingItemName
We are looking for feedback from others that have the Lane Andre chairs, or similar chairs. The more info the better so we can make an informed decision. Thanks in advance to all who reply!

We looked at those and they were very comfortable, but in the end we opted for regular recliners. Because of the way we restructured our rig they fit better and since Joyce and I are two entirely different sizes she bought one that fit her and I bought one that fit me. We first saw that type of recliner in several folks rigs at the Rally last year and they loved them so if they fit your needs you should enjoy them.

La-z-boy recliners. The "wall hugger" ones, so you don't have to pull them out far. Also just replaced the sofa with a La-z-boy recliner unit that has a recliner on each side, with a table with storage and cupholders in the middle (between the chairs). We didn't need or want the rotating feature on the chairs. No matter what you did, someone would always lean back, turn and hit something.

We picked up two flexsteel leather recliners with swivels that fit our 2005 and 2010 perfectly

We bought two on sale from Sears that are very similar to the Costco ones. We got rid of the heavy cheap Keystone supplied wooden ones, and we don't have any regrets. We place the foot stools on the chair seat and strap the chairs down with the orginal floor straps so that they dont move around when the slides are closed. The chairs are light enough so that they are not difficult to move.

I'm sure you will enjoy the new ones.

On our '06 3400 we moved the couch under the rear window and the wife sat there, she crocheted or knitted so a recliner was not for her. We bought ONE wallhugger from Lazy Boy and placed it under the main slide window, put the lamp on it and I had an end table with plenty of room. It also opened up the dining area. We never had to tie the recliner down, just pushed it back in the corner and drove away. Never had a problem with it. Hint: If you plan on doing this with the newer units, you might want to measure to insure the couch will fit with the slides closed. Be careful when moving slides in as you can do alot of damage to the slides if that couch is not all the way back. Cathy always stopped the slides half way in and went back to make sure everything was clear as I walked around outside to be sure they were going in properly. Our signal that they weren't was me to beat on the side of the trailer, ( or coach as some call it). Several times the awning would not go under the awning covers and I had to beat on the side and redo it. Your choice on one or two recliners, we just felt with just the two of us we did not need multiple seating. We also left two dining room chairs in our sons storage area. We had one for the computer desk and two for the table, we found it too crowded with 5 chairs in there......To each his own.

We have the "Euro" type chairs similiar to the ones you show from Costco. We like them and they are easy to move when putting the slides in.

Thanks for all the replies. We are looking at them mainly because of how heavy and the difficult to move the original recliners are.

See my earlier reply to another post. We switched to Lambright recliners from Shipshawana. Very comfortable.
