2010/2011/2012 3750FL Height

Just a heads up in case you haven't noticed and you own a 2011 3750FL. The 2010 is 12'9" in height as is the 2012! The 2011 however is a full 8" higher at 13'5". Why you ask. I did and here's what Brian Doss, Product Manager for Keystone Montana had to say ... "In 2010 the Standard Air Conditioner was located in the Rear Bedroom. When the Air Conditioner was back in the Bedroom the height of the 3750 was 12'9". The Highest point on most Fifth Wheels is the Air Conditioning unit. In 2011 we moved the Standard Air Conditioner forward to the kitchen area and that raised the overall height 8 inches. In 2012 Model year we moved the air conditioner back to the rear bedroom bringing the height back down to 12"9"". There is is so 2011 owners beware! 8" can make quite a difference when you're pulling into a gas station.

So I assume if you have two air conditioners installed at the factory, regardless of year, that would put the height at 13/5"?? We have two air conditioners and I am sure many others do as well.

I have a 2011 so my height is 13'5" because the standard air conditioner is installed in the kitchen ceiling. As an option, I got the bedroom unit as well. And yes, any year 3750FL with 2 air conditioners would be 13'5" in height. The brochures state that the 2010 and the 2012 are 12'9" (because the standard air in installed in the bedroom) so if someone chose the 2nd air conditioner option, they might be mislead by the brochure and not realize that their unit was actually 13'5". Thus, the heads up!

Wouldn't it be nice if gas stations posted the height of their awnings/overhangs/island covers? Some of the more interesting moments in my marriage occur as Wayne is pulling in to the fuel pumps while I am screaming STOP at the top of my lungs. We have 2 air conditioners, and the one in the bedroom is REALLY up there . . .

I really like using the diesel pumps where the big rigs get fuel.

Hi

The G614 tire raises the rig 1 inch. I don’t go under any thing that is unmarked or marked lower than 13’ 6”
