Departure checks

We are about to depart Florida after our 6 month winter stay. Today did checks on the underside of the Montana, gears, Hydraulics, tires/ pressure and anything else.

We had collected some Florida dust and sand on the hydraulics. Our procedure is to wipe all grease off and clean then reapply.

We have those ugly white steel rims that have never rusted or cracked and General tires made in the Chech republic.

After 6 months our pressures were nearly normal at 83psi. The worst was 2 psi low and wear is Evan across the thread after 6 or 7K miles on the tires...
I think having the Mor Ryde IS system helps with tire wear.
We are ready to leave...getting very hot and humid here.

Can our Monty hitch a ride with you? We were doing the same thing because we were leaving Friday but the truck got hit in the front end yesterday. Truck's at the Ford dealer right now and should be ready in about a week. So in the mean time, it's off to Disney we go!!

Have a safe journey.

Dosen't greasing the hydro rods just allow more dirt to accumulate?

'Did not really mean grease. Use the stuff they use at the service center.

Have a safe trip home. We left Florida Tuesday and arrived home yesterday. Diesel prices ranged from $3.76 in N. Carolina to $4.45 in PA. Hope you do better.
