Just picked it up....wow!

I picked up our new 2011 3455 on Tuesday. I selected the TrailerSaver air hitch with the MorRyde pin box. I have never towed a 5er before, just my tt. After hitching up and before getting off the dealer lot I could tell the difference in towing. I've read about the difference between a tt and 5er, but I didn't expect it to be so dramatic. In the 60 mile freeway drive home, I couldn't get the smile off my face. I don't know how to compare the hitch and pin box I got to other cominations, but I am sure happy with my decisions. It was amazing. I had read that it would take a little while to get used to backing the unit up....so far so good. It backed into our storage yard spot without a problem. Oh yeah, the Monty is absolutely beautiful. I'm a pretty happy guy.

Sweet! Hope to pick mine up in a couple weeks...got the MorRyde pin box too, but went with the Superglide hitch (short bed truck). I assume you felt it to be unnecessary with your truck? How's the truck cab to trailer clearance? Let's see a pic...

Congratulations! I am sure as a former travel trailer owner you will find backing up the fifth wheel an easy transition.
