To 3455SA owners

We have a 2009 3455SA. Without going into the whole story, we had work done on the back of our rig in August. In the process they changed out our steps. They say it was done in error. When we asked it be corrected, they refused saying we have correct steps. The steps were from 16-20 inches between bottom step and ground, depending on how we were parked.

I finally wrote to Good Sam Action Line. Then we got a call from dealers new service manager. He admitted there was a mistake and sent us new steps.

We put them on yesterday. They are the just like the other ones they had installed. Currently 18" inches between bottom step and ground.

If you have a 2009 3455SA, would you do us a favor? Measure how far some from floor of rig to first step, distance between steps and from bottom step to ground.

Thanks so much.

Sorry, can't make the measurement 'cause we replaced ours with a 4 step for that very reason. Before we did, we carried a portable step. We paid about $200.00 for the replacement steps from the dealer.

We have a 2010 3455. The distance from the floor to first step is 8 in. The distance between steps is 9 3/4 in. and the distance from bottom step to the ground is 11 in. The last measurement is very sensitive to uneven ground so it could be more or less by a couple of inches dependent on conditions. Hope this helps.

Maybe we could trade steps. Many times this past season our bottom step has been sitting on the ground, and several times had trouble getting it to sit flat on the ground. We've been thinking of going to a two step version, but haven't done anything yet.
