I love your picture of kitty in the beer box.
Every time a box comes inside, a cat is in it within a few minutes.
Neat picture.

Sorry, I didn't have anything helpful to post so I didn't. Mine isn't yellowing at this point, but the skylight is. This is common and many have put a tinted one in for their second one.

I have not had any yellowing problems in my rigs and I consider myself lucky, but my rig enclosures look kinda yellow in the first place, but I have seen others that have had yellowing from an obvious white original color. I don't know of any solution to fix it after it's done because I thought this was caused by the sun.

I have seen yellowed plastic and was able to scrape down a very thin layer because the plastic not only yellowed, it had dried enough that I could scrape the top layer off and now see the original color below that. But is also looked like the white showing through was not as strong as the top layer so I fear that scraping off the yellow would compromise the material. I can't add any more than this, but I have never heard of a way to solve this.

I kinda think this is along the lines of prevention of SUN bleaching in the first place. For example, we have wood floors in our house and wherever there is a throw rug, the color underneath the rug is deeper than any exposed flooring where the sun can shine on it. I've been told the solution for this is to sand down a thin layer to restore the cover evenly, but the problem will return if prevention of the sun bleaching the floors isn't remedied. Prevention of sun bleaching is the best solution but sometimes this is difficult especially when DW prefers natural sunlight to light a room than the more expensive electric lights that would not bleach a floor.

Hopefully, someone has a better answer.

Thanks Ozz, that was taken a few years ago, don't think she would fit in it now. LOL Both my cats love boxes. That is Miss Kitty, Matt Dillon likes them too! We have "The Gunsmoke Gang" I wanted a Festus, but my vacume cleaner "groaned"

I am a semi-retired retired Pipefitter, we work in the Summers a bit. My pappy was a Pipefitter as well.
I posted a fix for the yellowing on your original post.
Take care, Ozz
