Extended warranties

Our warranty is going to run out in a few months. Any ideas about the best company to go with for an extended warranty?

We went with Wholesale Warranty. The pricing was better then Good Sam at the time. Luckily we have not had to use it.

If you are dealing with a single local dealer primarily, my recommendation is to use whatever company they are using. It may cost a little more since there is a profit margin for the dealers. The reason I have always done this is that on our plan, the dealer is responsible for contacting the extended service company and it keeps me and my time from being wasted dealing with them. Obviously, if you are on the road for extended times, this approach would not be the best one, but for us, it is.

I got mine from the Montana dealer when I bought it brand new the Company is ..AG warranty... But F.Y.I gang a little trick they try when they sell you a aftermarket warranty when new is that they will sell you the warranty for XXX dollers for 5 years it is Really only a 4 year contract because of the 1 year factory warranty make them start the 5 year AFTER the MFG warranty is up

We also have Wholesale Warranties and have used it this past year for replacing galley tank and getting microwave repaired. They would not replace microwave, but repair if possible. Paid $1120 for 7yrs in 2010.

I'm with Bingo on this one. Sometimes if you have to deal directly with the warranty company you can get frustrated. Let the dealer work with them.
