TT side to side leveling without towing

We are buying a 2004 Mountaineer TT model 315RLS. We want to set it up permanently on our lake side lot. We have no way to tow the trailer after the dealer delivers it. The site is on sandy soil which sinks over time per our experience with Airstream and Prowler trailers.

My question is: How can I level and relevel the Mountianeer side to side without moving the wheels on and off boards? I understand that the jacks at the corners are for stabilization only not for bearing the trailer weight.

Thankx for suggestions/advise

Probably you will want to support portions of the frame at different locations with adjustable jacking devices that allow you to adjust the height as needed.

Over time the tires will loose air or dry rot. You're probably better off setting it up like a mobile home. Support the frame with concrete blocks and remove the wheels. Then if a corner is low just jack it up and use shims. Just a thought. Good luck.

As an after though I would make sure to use a wide base for the blocks because of the sandy soil.

X2. If you're going to use it as a mobile home/Park Model, I would set it up like one. I would use more piers than you think you should just to be safe.

If you don't ever plan on moving it take off the tires and wheels and sell them. If you ever do have to move it you would have to buy new tires anyways. Then buy a bunch of cinder blocks and some boards and some shims. When I was 14-16 years old I used to relevel our families mobile home and no it isn't that hard to figure out...(yeah I was trailer trash from way back lol lol)
