how long does a fiver last?
Ours is a 2003, sits full time at a lake now, planning to travel in 3 years. If mechanically sound, still beautiful except for cap, why wouldn't it last as long as we service it right?

We have seen some 70`s models on the road that still look good, we have also seen some ten year old models ready for the dump.
Should be like a pickup, take care of them and they will last you a long time.

Maintain them and they will last a long time.
Yours may need a new roof, 12 year warranty. Keep the bearings greased and the tires new and pumped.
Good luck and enjoy!

A fiver lasts as long as you don't go visit a dealer or RV show.

When I returned my unit to the dealer last year to have my second A/C ceiling unit changed out to ducted the techs kept bragging on how clean and new my camper looked. I said it's only one year old what do you expect? They said if you saw how most looked after one year I would not be asking. I guess a lot of people trash 'em pretty fast.

When I traded my 2003 in 2007, the service folks asked why I wanted to trade because they said that the old one was ready to put on the lot. Clean and ready. If they are cared for, they will last. Just keep it clean and repair any problems now , not later.

Had an SOB TT for 15 years. Had to replace the fridge after 12 years when it sprung a leak (upgraded to a new and better one) and had to repair to tire blow-out damage (Tires were way past their useful life span, but didn't have a forum such as this with great info) other than that no problems and was still in excellent shape.

Your RV should last as long as you maintain it.
I bought a Red Dale Slide in, 11 ft, camper for one of my trucks in 1961. I still have it and use it for camping each fall Elk and deer hunting in Colorado as a hunting camp.
Later I bought a Conquest 5th Wheel RV that we used 11 years before trading it for a JayCo Eagle. The Dealer sold the Conquest to a buyer who on his list looking for one of this type the same day that I took delivery of the JayCo.
We owned the JayCo 16 years before trading for our Montana 3750Fl. The Dealer sold the JayCo three days after we took delivery of the Montana.
I have maintained all of our RV units and all were kept in excellent condition, looking almost new. The only reason for trading for a different unit was to upgrade for our desires.

We have seen some on the road looking similar to the one you posted...don't know that I would be comfortable towing it anywhere!

We recently traded our 2000 2850RK in for an 04 2955RL. It looks like brand new and we will probably keep it till the end. Either mine or hers.
