Electrical ghost
I have a 2016 Montana High Country 370BR
It is put away for the winter sadly, but recently I was in it to see how it was doing and heard a chirp like the CO2 monitor was dead battery.
I have pulled the battery, shut off the master switch.
How is it still chirping?

Check for smoke detectors. Usually on the ceiling or on wall near the ceiling.

I have a hard time determining exactly the direction those chirps are coming from. As mentioned, check your smoke detector. And also your propane detector.

I had the same problem. I could not get that darn thing to quit. I bought a new one and hung it just below the old one for a couple weeks. The old one continued to chirp the new one didn't so I threw the old one away.

On our rig, both the CO detector and the smoke detector are 9 volt battery operated. I had to replace our propane detector a couple seasons ago, even though it was only a couple years old. About a year before the propane detector failed, the CO detector failed. How come they always fail in the middle of the night? Anyway, the lifespan of these detectors don't always come close to what they are supposed to last, and the hassle of trying to get one replaced under their warranty isn't worth the cost or the time.

These things could be several years old before you get the rig. They could sit in the manufacturers warehouse for months, then in the distributers warehouse for more time. Then at the RV factory for several months. And then on the dealers lot for sometimes years.

CO2 detector, propane detector, smoke detector... so many devices that can chirp, and you gotta be absolutely sure which one is chirping. Some even chirp because the battery IS low and will keep chirping until the battery is completely dead, then finally it will stop. I have even experienced that the device itself is going bad, so even replacing the battery and it will still chirp. For this problem, I just get a new device.
Hope you figure this one out. We'd like to hear what finally works for you.
