Remote Batteries

We are starting to get issues with our remote for the jacks, slides, etc. We put the unit into service in May but have used it quite a lot. Anyone had to replace the batteries? I hope that's the problem. When I push the buttons it starts, stops, starts. Using the controls on the unit, no problem. It worked fine and has gotten progressively worse. Sounds like batteries, but maybe I should check something else.

Ron,
We've had to change the batteries in our remote three times this season for the exact reason that you mentioned. If I remember correctly, the battery is a A23.

When you change the battery, does it lose it's programming? I suppose I'll have to re-sync with the sending unit.

Thanks, John. I will ride right over. We're heading to Illinois' Shabonna State Park for the weekend, so I'll get it fixed up for that. I believe there are two screws hidden behind the decal, if I'm not mistaken.

Don -
Thanks for the battery size. It will help. We had some success in Wyoming deer hunting two weeks ago.
