furnace modes

hi everyone.went camping last week in upper michigan.it was quite cold and used the furnace .in the morning when the furnace came on the green light was flashing.the manual said that the furance was in frost mode .the manual didnt say what that means. can antone tell what that means and suspost to do? do i have to do anything? update this is on a 2005 3400rl.fuenace works ok. the manual says the green light on the thermostat flashes green the furnace is in frost mode but the manual doesnot explain what that is or what to do about it?does any one know?

Randy, Can you be more specific? What year/model Montana do you have and where is this green light at? I have never heard of "frost mode". Someone will be by this AM to help.

Sounds like a Heat Pump Mode????

I have an 05 3400rl and on the thermostat there is a red light and green light, sometime the green light flashes and sometimes it don't. dont' know why either.

allen do you still have the remote t-stat. if you do mine did that with the lite flashing I cant remember why since I dont have it anymore. better to change to ccc if you can. JMHO

I have a 2955 and had it happen to me this spring in Montana,and my furnance would not work. The trouble was the control module was locked out. The control module is in the air conditioner and had to be reset. The procedure to reset it was to pull the 12v dc fuse for air conditioner for a few seconds. Then every thing was alright. As long as it is fashing and furnance is working there is nothing to worry about, in fact it happened to me again this past weekend just as you explained and my furnance was working just fine. JME
