Fireplace Facade

We must have camped where the spiders were looking for winter quarters. Our fireplace is filled with cob webs, and I need to open it up.

I've read the manual and am of the impression that the facade just pops off. Has anybody had a similar problem and had to remove the facade of the fireplace?

Help is needed.

Remove the 4 wooded plugs and you'll find hidden screws. Simply remove the 4 screws and the front comes off.
