GE Residential Refrigerator

I bought my 2022 Montana 229RL in February and to my digest and confusion I can not get water to the fridge. I found the valve under the sink in the island and could hear water to fill the line. I also found the icemaker shutoff 1/4 turn valve to the right of the stove in a cabinet and made.sure it was on. Neither are.working. Any thoughts on what I am missing. All other fixtures have water to them. We are currently connected to city water. Thanks for any advice. Manual is pretty spare on the topic.

If both valves are open then the only other thing I can think of is the in fridge water filter. Check to see if its inserted all the way. It twists to engauge so mayby not fully locked in?

After I found both valves and fixed the leaks at the connections from the valve by the stove to the fridge, the only other thing I had to do was turn the ice maker on inside the freezer and it started making ice.

Take a look at this Thread that discusses the hidden tricks to getting water to the ice maker, actually turning it on, and filling the water tray.

Once you are have water to the dispenser, this link has instructions to make the ice maker cycle. I have the GE refrigerator and this method works for me.
