Center Island
We have a 2015 3611rl Montana. We took off on a trip to Tennessee and on the way we made a rest stop after a couple of hours. When I opened the door I discovered the center island has become dislodged off of its base. We travel on to our destination and called a repairman to come over and see if he could repair it.
Upon inspection we discovered the base for the center island was very thin molding that was stapled on, never meant to last at all. Don't ever crawl on top of it when the slides are in to get to the rear of the camper as you will most likely cause the island to crash to the floor.
Quality has gone out the window on these newer units. We have had to replace all the gate valves and cables for the holding tanks. The bathroom floor had to be replaced because the heated floor unit burned the floor. I have two seals on the slide that are split and have to be replaced. The toilet won't hold water in the bowl. Also whoever thought of putting a residential refrigerator in a camper wasn't thinking about not being able to add shelf rails to keep the stuff inside from sliding around and spilling out when you open the door. Then when you unplug the camper from the land line to prepare for travel you have to go inside the bay and push a switch on the converter to turn the fridge back on. When you are done camping and you want to store the camper you have to unplug the fridge from a socket located in the bay area next to the little converter.
We had a 2011 Montana that was the best RV we ever owned, wish we had it back.
