The Countdown Begins
Well, I guess I'll start the countdown until we hit the road...*technically*, it's 4 days. We'll be putting the monty in a nearby park on Monday while I close up/ winterize the house. Then we'll leave Thursday morning for Utica ILL, and will be there visiting Judi's family until the following Monday morning..then it's on the road, stopping over somewhere around Rolla, MO overnite then finally arriving at Branson on the 14th...where we'll be parked for about six months. I hauled the boat and m/c down there a week ago. Then we might head over to SC for a month, but then it's on to NY, where we'll take possession of our new house there. Whew...
Anyone coming to the Branson area between mid-sept and march, give us a shout...we'll be at Lakeside RV park. In SC, we are tentatively looking at midmarch-midapril in the Santee area.
Bill

Hey, we live on the shores of Lake Erie...winters in Pittsburg would be an improvement.

I guess it's all relative to where you start!

My friend that lives in Branson is continually telling me how nice the weather is when we are freezing and the snow is blowing uphere in Omaha. actually they have very little cold weather and snow--How do you think the Hillbillys survive in their houses?

Maybe an improvement but not good enough! Yuinz need to go further south than the Burg! Trust me, I know. Steeler Country in the winter is not very hospitable especially if you come from "Browns" territory (northen Ahia)
