Drip pan part number and sales?

What's the best place to order slide motor drip pans and does anyone have a part number?

Did you call the manufacturer at the number I gave in your other thread?
A simple phone call is all it took for me to get delivered to my door free of charge.

I don't think this a part you can just buy off the shelf anywhere. It must come through the manufacturer or Keystone.

I have a 2013 Mountaineer and it doesn't have slide motors. My slides are hydraulic. Thought the High Country had the leaking motors.

I would keep a very close watch on them. All three of ours were/are leaking.

Take a paper towel and run it along the bottom of the gear boxes. If they come back wet or stained, they are leaking and only a matter of time until they drip. Don't wait until you see the oil on the slide roofs!

Fish,

You'll eventually get a gear box leak and wish you had installed the drip pans. Once your trailer get hots and the fluid leaks on the roof membrane, it will immediately bubble your roof membrane; the only proper fix is the replacement of Slide roof membrane. My 2018.5 HC didn't have leaks and then all of sudden is started. My trailer is still at the dealer getting one slide roof membrane replaced and drips pans installed on the others. Be proactive and get the drip pans installed! It's really sad Keystone is aware of this systemic issue and is still shipping out units with gear boxes that leak and with out drip pans installed?

We just purchased our High Country and they aren't leaking either. As I understand it is more of a problem in summer when the RV heats up. I just didn't want to risk it and have a messed up slide roof so I wanted the "insurance" of the drip pans. Especially when Norcold / BAL shipped them to me for "free".

The kitchen and living room slide will be an easy install. The bedroom slide leaves little room to reach the motor. I haven't figured out how I'm installing that one yet?

Help me understand this thread about drip pans for the top of sliders. On our Montana the only cable slide was in the bedroom, we lost the motor/gearbox last year, replaced under extended warranty, no problem. If the electric motor and gear box requires a drip pan, isn't there a problem with the unit?? Please enlighten me.

Bob you mean the Norco debacle! I thought they purged the bad stock, but they didn't So not only is the 2018 model year affected the 2019s have it also. It seems to just affect the MHC. So it may not affect you. And once you have the drip pans you have to clean them out periodically. What a mess. between this and the electric "levelers" I would steer friends and enemies away from the MHC line. Even though the DW loves their kitchens better.

Hopefully Keystone will change their slideout design to ditch Norco

Yes, without a doubt there is a problem with the unit and Keystone should be embarrassed to let this go on after knowing about it in '18 or earlier.

Doubtful they will ever drip enough to warrant draining the pan as its literally just a few drips. Unfortunately, the oil is very toxic to the slide roof membrane and will bubble it in a short time with just a drop or two of oil. Keep an eye on that replacement motor/gearbox as I would think they are the exact same part number as used on all cable driven slides of all Montanas. (I would bet across most of the Keystone line.)

Here is a Pic of a drip pan installed for those who are interested in getting them. Its a very quick and easy install IF you can access them. The bedroom
is going to require removing the upper slide trim on ours.

I have sen everything now. This is ridiculous, rather than a high tech drip pan maybe they should replace the defective motor/gearbox assembly!!

Problem is they do not know which ones are good and which ones are bad. And as long as people will accept this they will keep doing it.
