I am on my fourth year of use of my UHMW repair on one of my hydraulic slide Darco bottom coverings.. I used 0.125 thickness UHMW material for my repair and there have been Zero issues in four years now..
The slide skis also are good if properly installed ( must remove drip strips , install skis and reinstall drip strips )..
The item I was most concerned with was gear pack teeth to guide bar teeth mesh when the slide extends or retracts .. this short video shows the repair , material used, and a couple of motion clips of my gear packs after installing UHMW..
The slide with the UHMW is much smoother regrading movement and much quicker during its movement

** some had concern the countersunk wood screws might come out. I have had zero issues with the screws..I applied a dab of proflex sealant to each screw threads before installing..
