Hello from California

Both my wife are going to be buying a Montana next year and will be getting an address in Nevada also. So things are looking good. Learned a lot on this forum and researching 5th wheels and online and talking to full timers. Also watched a lot of YouTube videos about RVing. We also will need to buy a truck to pull it. We are looking forward on traveling for the first 2 years and then decide if we will settle down in Nevada or keep full timing. Only thing we need to consider is which model we will buy.

Welcome to the forum. You will learn alot about your Montana 5th wheel and what type of truck you will need to pull it with. Glad to have a fellow Californian on the forum. Hello from Fullerton!

Thank you. The hardest part on buying a Montana, is figuring out which model is beat for us. Looking at a 3854 or a 3810.

Welcome from Southern California. I did the same thing searching this forum before I bought. Make sure you get a big enough truck for the pin weight of the trailer you decide on. I have read on this forum to pick your trailer first and then a truck that will tow it safely. I would also suggest looking at pre delivery inspection or PDI. Do not sign or pay before you are completely satisfied that everything that you find that is wrong or broken is fixed. Happy searching and travels!

Welcome to the MOC forum. Lots of good info can be found here.

I suggest spending time in each unit going through the motions to see which one fits you best.
Both have great features!
