Amarillo

Suggestions on a good campground on the west side of Amarillo? Need pull thru. We stayed at Overnite last year but want to be on west side this year.

We always stay at Ft Amarillo RV Resort. Just about the last thing on the west side, but still very near shopping and restaurants. Pull thrus plenty long enough.
About $30/nt. But if your DW is like mine, the gift shop may cost you more than the site!

X2 on Ft. Amarillo. Like BB TX said, the gift shop is awesome and it always sets us back a few $$ when we stop there.

Oasis RV Resort is a good one that we stay at every time going through Amarillo. It's at exit #60 off I-40 and is a Good Sam CG that is very quiet. They have seasonal campers there but it really is a nice large place with level concrete pads and full hook-ups.

We've stayed at Oasis twice when passing thru. Easy on and off I40. Fast check in. Fuel at the exit. Clean bathrooms and showers.
