MOC members age?

I was wondering about what the average age of moc members are? I am 65 the wife is 62. She just had a sucessful breast cancer surgery (we hope). She is going throught kemo then radiation for six months, Hopefully that will give us enought time to sell the stone house and hit the road full time. Hope everyone has a safe and happy camping 4th of July Jack, Janet & Koko

Wagonmaster, seems you fit right in if you ask us. We're exactly the same ages. Glen had a serious battle with leukemia three years ago and is in remission and doing great. Every day is a blessing and we're looking forward to a lot of years traveling in our Monty, Lord willing. We pray that your wife will also have a successful recovery.

73 and 65 here. I like that Toby Keith song also. My wife recovered from Thyroid cancer in '95. That's why we decided to full time in 2000. No regrets.

We both are just 49, one week apart. She`s older, I like older women hahaha...Hope everything turns out with the breast cancer. My Aunt had it at 70 and is 79 now and She doesn`t stop for a minute I`m counting the days to retirement too, about 2.5 yrs or less for me and 5 yrs for the boss, She has no choice as her work won`t allow her to go before 55.

We go 39 and 37. Decided not to wait until retirement to start fulltiming. Second best decision I ever made (Cheryl will always be #1)!

I'm 57, Shari is 53. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had surgery just before we got married 7-1/2 years ago. As with Pete, Shari was the best decision in my life. We will be retiring from the City of Los Angeles when Shari turns 55 in 1 year, 9 months, 3 days (who's counting!). We're 99% sure that we don't want to full-time, but certain that we want to "long-time" (out for a month or more, home for a bit, out again). We'll be moving to Prescott AZ after we retire and will live in our rig while we complete our new home there (which will include a 45' RV garage to keep our Monty comfortable!). I really like this forum, it's great getting to "know" all you folks and hope to meet as many as possible in the coming years.

Lorraine is 63 and I'm 26 or was it 62? Dang CRS! I also like them older.
Toby's song "As Good As I Once Was" is one of my favorites along with every RVers favorite "On The Road Again".

Well, I turned 43 last week and Marsha is 38, so we are not quite the youngest to reply to this thread…

I too hope that your wife’s cancer surgery is successful!

69/62. We hope the cancer surgery/treatment is successful. Hubby had seed implant treatment for prostate cancer almost 5 years ago and so far his urologist says he is a "poster boy" for the process. We decided we'd best get the 5th wheel we had been thinking about and see as much as we can, while we can. Safe travels.

I'm 59 and have been retired for 4 years yesterday. Claudia's 58 and supporting my habits until she retires next May. Celebrated 40 years of marital bliss and camping together on 6/19 and looking forward to 40 more!

I am 57 and Paul will be 57 on 7/6. (He is always telling everyone that I am the oldest, he just doesn't tell them by only 3.5 months. Our first grandchild is due on 7/7!! Paul retired at 55 and I am supporting his habits until I decide to quit work--have to wait for 59.5. we have two sons, both married and one new grandson, born June 23, 2005.

Hey Pete, right answer!

Jack and Janet, we hope everything works out well for both of you.

Gail and I are both 54. Hope within the next 2 or 3 years we can at least do more traveling in the Challenger.

God Bless you all.
