removing the fireplace

I have an 2011 3400 and want to remove the fireplace to clean it as it does not put out heat like it did in the past. I can't seem to see any way to get the fireplace to come out.

Has anyone else done this and if so how?

Removal is a simple process once you locate the screws that hold it in. They are very difficult to see but there should be one in each corner that can be spotted using a flashlight. They are not concealed but are not readily visible either. Good luck.

Yep do a search(Fire place removal) and you will find many posts on this (I few I have done) it is not hard just a little time consuming,If your's was like mine you will see alot of dust and Pet hair etc... and while you are in there tighten all the Connections as they get loose after a few years

Mine had a wood frame around it that had wood dows that stuck up about an 1/8 inch that had to be removed. Take a knife and pop em out then 4 screws held the fireplace in.
