Our New Montana 3465SA

We traded in our 2006 3295RK for a 2008 10th Anniversary 3465SA a couple of weeks ago and have just returned from a 6-day Memorial Day trip to the lake. We got a very good deal on it from Krueger's North/South RV in Clarkston, WA/Lewiston, ID. We had tried to deal at the Tampa RV show in January, but Randy Krueger gave us a much better deal over the phone from FL.
Took about 2 weeks to get it the way we wanted - I installed an electric fireplace ordered online since it came without one It's a Dimplex and is apparently the one the factory would have installed since it fit perfectly. Put in an outlet in front for the air compressor, an additional sewer valve on the end of the dump line, a shelf in the front compartment, and a larger trash can, but that was about all we needed extra. Also had them give us 2 6V batteries instead of the 12V ones. Montana continues to add things we have discussed on the Forum, such as an inside electric water heater switch.
Our 6-day trip was almost flawless - we had a small piece of moulding by the door pull one end out and experienced a bit of operator error with the TV. Just about a perfect experience, so I am really impressed with the jump shift in Montana quality on this, our third Montana. We made the change primarily to get the larger living area in the rear, for the separate bathroom, and for the 10th Ann. upgrades too.

Congrats on the new rig! Glad your trip went without failure.

Hmm - wonder how many other 3rd time owners out there already?

Congratulations on the new Montana. We have had ours a few months now and really like it. They sure have a lot of nice new features. My DW likes the separate bath and Corian countertops, and I like the flat bottom basement. We have only been camping in it twice, but sometimes on weekends, we will spend the night in it, just like camping.
Hope you have many more happy camping trips.

Glad you had a good trip. We hope you enjoy your Monty to the max. The 10th Anniversary's are nice! Be glad you got it before the price increase.

Congratulations on your new Montana! We too are on our 3rd Montana ('01 2880RL, '03 3295RK and '07 3400RL) ... kinda wish we had the 10th anniversary upgrades ... but not that much! It took us quite awhile to get our 3400 tweaked the way we want it. (In fact, Steve just finished another tweak ... I'm posting about that in another thread that's about shoe storage.)

It's always good to hear about happy Montana owners.

Enjoy!
