Under bed storage

I have a 2007 montana 3075rl. I have in the past noted , I think on this forum, a modification to the existing space under the bed, working around the hydraulic and slide assembly, can't locate that information. Help from anyone ! Thanks

Here it is: This is a slide-show showing electrical I added, but the carpet-covered cover is in it.

(The one in the picture is Too long, cut it in half and gave the other half to Steve Regal)

I used Ozz's method after seeing what he did except I pulled out the 4x4 sheet of plywood, cut it down the middle, and put a cabinet handle on each half. I just lift out or slide back whichever part I want access to. Ozz gave me the leftover part of that black 3-sided box you see.

Normally the upper level is loaded with the more frequently accessed items with seasonal clothing in the lower area.

If I recall, there were only 2 screws holding the plywood in place once I relocated the safe.

I would think you could easily fashion doors on the vertical panels under the bed for quick access to small items.

That's a great idea, Steve.
Where in Texas did you guys lite? The weather is crazy here in K.C. It was beautiful yesterday, I washed the truck and dried it in the driveway, all the snow and rain is dried up. A few days ago the ground was covered and ice was on the trees.
Missouri...
