Generator theft-best prevention method?

I'm planning on purchasing ahonda 2000i and saw the anti- theft handle cover advertised. However this does nothing to stop a thief with a chain cutter which is the most common way of freeing the gen. Any ingenious methods out there besides sleeping with it?
