The Blazing Star Resort in San Antonio, Texas is fabulous--Paved insdie roads, manicured lawns, patio and picnic table at each site, trash pick up each morning at 9:00, and many more features. In my opinion the best feature was easy access by a loop around the city which means you miss all the city traffic and its only five minutes from Sea World.

We didn't stay at the Blazing Star when in San Antonio last year but we looked it over and decided next time that's where we'll stay. We liked the spacing between sites and the cleanliness and attractiveness of the grounds. Nice place.

We are staying there in July, glad to hear it was a good choice. How convenient is it to the Riverwalk?

The Riverwalk is downtown. If you can find the Alamo, there's parking in that area and it's only a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk. Take your appetite, there's lots of great restaurants along the Riverwalk. And it's a beautiful place just to stroll. We only saw a portion and someday want to see more of it. We planned to have a wedding anniversary dinner at the Riverwalk but naturally it rained cats and dogs that evening so we went elsewhere.

If you like old Missions, there are about 7 of them in San Antonio, including the Alamo. We got to most of them but will catch the others next time. Most are ruins, which is fascinating to us.

Thanks for the good info on the Blazing Star Resort in Texas. We love to hear from people with big rigs who have actually been to these places and can tell you about them from their experiences. Beats the Woodall's and TrailerLife's all to pieces.
