Question about washer/dryer

We thought having a washer/dryer would be a big plus, but ours is not vented and does not work efficiently. Is there a conversion kit available? Anyone experience the same or similar?

If you mean a venting kit, yes there are choices. See my Ozz's mods for my venting and W/D install.

Drying vented should work better than drying unvented.

Jeana, you'd have to find out whether your dryer has an option for venting or not. Perhaps there is a cover blocking the vent and all you have to do is remove it and attach to an outside vent. You'd have to install that outside vent, of course. Or perhaps there are parts you can buy to convert the dryer. Or perhaps the only option is to buy a different dryer. I'd suggest checking the manual first, then calling the mfr if that doesn't help. Good luck.

I guess I didn't understand, do you mean that the dryer is a non vented model?
