Bentsen Palm Village, RGV, Texas
Pulled into BPV wednesday afternoon. There are about 15 or so rigs here including a few workcampers. Have a nice site near the fitness room and south laundry.
Several others who are purchasing RV lots are here also.
Four of the 15 rigs are Montanas. Three 3400's and one 3500.
Weather is a bit humid, it's 82 and cloudy, chance of showers today.

Be glad you are there, and not here. Very windy with some snow here, about 50 miles east of us they have a foot of snow with closed roads and schools. Across the Niagara River, Buffalo has 2 ft of snow. Definitely time to head south!!!
See you at BPV in January, in the mean time, we are going to Alabama for a few weeks.

Jerry and Karen,
Glad to hear you are settled in at Bentsen.
I told Al today, forget the house, forget the holidays, forget the kids, forget the yard, forget the clients, forget the club (of which I sometimes act as president),
I JUST WANNA HOOK UP TANA AND LEAVE!!!!!
BLAH to this weather. John and Donna are experiencing basically the same nasty stuff. Watch the Detroit Tiger game, on right now. That is what we got! BLAHHHH!!

Jerry and Karen, we won't have the pleasure of your company this winter since we'll be on the east coast. I was wondering, though, if you are on the lot you bought? It sounds like you are right in the RV part of BPV from your description.

Steve, we're in the BPV RV Park. The new sites are not ready yet. They had some delays with rain and the City. Projected completion is around the 1st of December.
The Park looks great. The trees, plants, and flowers make for a very inviting "camping" experience.
Skip and Mary (Countryfolks) pulled in friday after I had last posted.
There was an impromptu Happy Hour called friday evening at the clubhouse, most all of the current residents attended the get together to meet and greet.

Glad to hear that you folks have made it back. We will be arriving there on Dec. 5th. Look forward to seeing everyone again. As Carol said it is time to get out of here, weather is turning nasty. Marge
