Took our first trip this past weekend. Found a very nice park just south of Houston. Quiet, peaceful...full hookups available with 50 amp service, cable and phone. Nice lake for fishing and swimming. Pet friendly. Lots of ducks and geese who are very friendly. Great folks who work there.
They honor Good Sam, Woodalls, TACO and I think one other discount. Full price is $25 a night. Nice general store with bait and food, plus computer hook-up.
About 11 miles south of Loop 610, off Hwy. 288. If attending any functions in Houston area, it is convenient to everything.
We had a big time, and everything worked really well!! Have some ideas for minor improvements in 3255 (just things that suit our particular needs).
