GlowStep Revolution A8005

Well, we did it! Finally replaced the outside steps. Now we no longer have to carry that extra step we used on the ground to get to the first step AND no longer have to make the ~11" final step through the door.

Went with the 5 step model (A8005) and it fits perfectly on* a "mostly" level sites. Only issue I can see is if we get a site with a more dramatic slope up from the door side.
If we get in that situation, we can just remove a step. Also, getting the "extra" step with the unit saves at least half the cost of adding a step later.

Next will be those TALL inside steps.......

Thanks for the info - been thinking about adding them and was undecided about 4 or 5 steps. I have a 2015 3100rl.

We too have the 4 step Glowstep and love them. It is so nice to have the stability and how each individual step can adjust for your site...

They are very lightweight, made out of aluminum, no rust...

We replaced the original steps, which were damaged by a blow out, with the 4 step unit. Then had the independent suspension work done on the Montana, which raised our trailer 3 inches. Had to add another step so not need an auxiliary step.

I find the reflective tape is coming loose - will they send replacement??

I too was unsure which would be better. The deciding factor was the cost difference between a 4 step unit and a 5 step unit is $40. While the "add-a-step" kit alone is over $100.

Our rig came with the Mor ryde 4 step with adjustable legs on both sides, and folds up inside of the door way, works great on unlevel sites.

The Morryde steps are a great improvement over the old foldup springboard. For me, I wanted steps that would store away in the same location as original.

Razrbk, one more thought....
be sure to measure your entryway elevation and check it against Torklift sizing chart.
