1/11/11 Birthday @ Quartzsite
Today was Dave Anderson’s 77th birthday (I know, he doesn’t look a day over 76  ) and the early arrival folks here in Quartzite prepared a breakfast in his honor. We started with the obligatory champagne toast. Even for Dave, it was a little too early for scotch.
Of course the guest of honor and his bride were first to sample the breakfast buffet.
Another picture of the buffet table and the birthday boy with the start of the Montana Circle in the background. It was cool and brisk, but it didn’t deter anyone from having a good time!
The day even came with a present from the MOC group. It is hard to find something unique, particularly in the desert, that Dave doesn’t already possess, but we managed to do it. You will have to ask him what it is.

Happy Birthday Dave!!! We're in Blythe tonight, where it is warmer than Bakersfield was last night. We'll pass by Q on our
way to Tucson tomorrow. Wave at us from I-10 as we pass. We look forward to joining the circle next week. Mariana will also be a year older on Thursday.

Happy Birthday Dave, we'll see you guys around the 20th in Quartzsite. We are heading out tomorrow for Overton, NV to visit with John's father for a while then we will head over to Q. Looks like everyone is having a great time.
